I hitch-hiked from eastern Mass and found my sister right up in front of the stage...
This was the only time that i saw a show two nights in a row in two different cities! Blue Oyster Cult was such a frequent back-up band in Springfield... it was like a second headliner... the Cult had the coolest drum solo, so I told the boys about it the next nite...of course the solo was interrupted by a glass throwing Bostonian idiot!
ZZ Top has always been one of the top power trios!
