Jethro Tull @ Hartford, CT

Performers: Jethro Tull
Date: July, 1976
Venue: Colt Park, Hartford, CT
cost of ticket: N/A

Colt Park was a huge outdoor arena in Hartford. Sometimes we would go and just see if we could get in, or perhaps sit up on this hill and listen to the music for free. I am pretty sure that is what I did for this concert.

Did you see this concert? If so, please leave your memories, comments, thoughts and ideas . . .

My friends and I were there. The show was moved to Colt Park from the Hartford Civic Center. The promoters appeared to let in whoever was willing to pay. The park was packed. It rained prior to show time, delaying the start of the concert - electrical safety was the reason given. This show featured the first "Jumbotron" I had seen called Tullavision.

Was my first concert with older brother as chaparone! remeber it like it was yesterday, the rain, the mud, and of course Tullavision!
Just say Ian and the band with same brother on Tuesday at the Capitol in Port Chester NY. Not as good as I would have liked, wished they played more of their classics.
