I was at this concert with my sister and my girlfriend.
The night of the concert Ricky Faatar and Blondie Chaplin played with the band. Brian was not there, but Carl, Dennis, Mike, and Al Jardine were.
Later, I was invited to their party following the concert. I write about the details in my memoir, Searching: An Adoptee's Memoir of Healing Love. Due to be released in early 2017.
They were staying at the Holiday Inn in Holyoke, MA. and that's where we had the party. I took my sister and my girlfriend home, then drove to Holyoke. The party went well into the night. What Carl said to me and what Al Jardine followed up with changed my life.
As I recall the concert. It was great! But that was 43 years ago.
